Finland
Finland in the winter is one of the most magical places I have ever been. If you are dreaming of snowy landscapes, husky and reindeer sleds, meeting Santa Claus, and watching Northern Lights inside a glass igloo, then I have plenty of information for you!

Transport: Within Helsinki there’s a good network of trams. For further travel it’s best to fly domestically with the national carrier Finn Air or by train or bus.
Currency: Euros! We pretty much paid by card the entire time we were there. The only thing that needed cash was bathrooms at rest stops.
Sim card: It’s easiest to get an e-sim for your trip! Yesim has great deals on Finland
Handy apps: GetYourGuide is the default for activities in Lapland, and both Uber and Bolt works in major cities like Helsinki and Rovaniemi, but Bolt is cheaper
*Use LAUGHTRAVELEAT5 for 5% off GetYourGuide
Language: local speaks great English and there’s no language barrier issues at all.

But with so many Lapland towns you can choose, including Rovaniemi, it can be overwhelming to pick the best glass igloo for your Lapland trip.
I did a lot of research before settling on the one we stayed at, so here is all the information:
