Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai is the second largest city in Thailand right after Bangkok. It’s close to the mountains of the north and was once the capital of the Lana Kingdom. It is also famous as a digital nomad hub and it’s not hard to see why. Having visited many times and spent a month living there, here are some of my top picks:

It’s relatively walkable if you’re in the old city and there is a decent bus system. You can also rent scooters here – aside from the one way system around the old city walls, it’s much easier to drive around.
Digital Nomad? I have spent a month+ living in Chiang Mai and then on and off ever since. Here is my experience.
