Quick facts

Capital: Zurich

Transport: Switzerland has a great train network as well. The best way to maximise your time and money is with a Swiss Travel Pass.

Currency: CHF, which is not the same as Euros. 1 CHF roughly = 8.5 hkd, and it’s roughly 1USD.

Sim Card: Many sim cards are valid for entire Europe

Handy apps: Swiss Travel Pass app is great for your pass or just to look up train pass. I also use Get Your Guide for tickets etc.

Language: Switzerland has three different parts: French speaking, German Speaking, and Italian Speaking. Yes! It is certainly confusing. But everywhere speaks good English so don’t worry.
