Aleenta Hua Hin Resort over view
Aleenta Hua Hin Resort is a cozy resort in Pranburi that has 10 rooms types but less than twice as many rooms. The resort overlooks the beach with perfect view of the sunrise.
How to get to Aleenta Hua Hin
Aleenta Hua Hin is located in Pranbur right by the beach and there is no public transport option to get there. The easiest way would be to get a private car from Bangkok or the airport, or a taxi from Hua Hin:
Private car to Aleenta Hua Hin
The cost from Bangkok to Aleenta should be around 2300 baht, as the general rate for Hua Hin is between 1800-2000 baht, and Pranburi is about another hour further south.
If you get a private car down, you can mamke it a road trip as well – see Bangkok to Hua Hin by taxi here.
Public Transport + Taxi to Aleenta Hua Hin
There is no significant savings for taking the bus to Hua Hin first, although the airport bus is very comfortable.
It’s still about one hour to Pranburi as the bus ends at the stop near the airport, and the taxi over would likely be upwards of 1000 baht if not more.
Aleenta Hua Hin amenities
Although a cozy resort, Aleenta Hua Hin has all the amenities you’d need for a stay with the added convenience of local restaurants being nearby and direct beach access.
Aleenta Hua Hin Restaurant
Breakfast is included in the rate for the Aleenta Hua Hin which is on the first floor above the reception. It is also a health conscious restaurant that serves lunch and dinner as well.
Breakfast at Aleenta Hua Hin
Breakfast includes daily fruits, pastries, and scones. You can also order one item from the menu with a pick of western style food like pancake and egg white omelette to Thai dishes such as noodles and congee.
There is also a good range of juices to choose from that includes mixed juices and a choice of tea and coffee, too.
While I don’t always like all the items from the platter, the main and the juices are fantastic and I wish we stayed longer for me to try them all.
Dinner at Aleenta Hua Hin
Aleenta Hua Hin has an inclusive offer and their dinner set menu includes 3 courses of starter, main, and dessert. The choices are a mix of western food and Thai food with popular dishes like crab curry, ceviche, and various grilled meat.
We also have bread to kick off the meal and it was baked by the hotel as well. The sesame was a nice touch and it came with hummus.
For starters we chose tuna ceviche and stuffed squid, both were cooked well and flavourful, and the portion quite generous.
For main we had the crab curry with rice noodles and seafood pasta. We did not like the seafood pasta as much as it was unexpectedly spicy, but the crab curry was delicious with many crab meat.
Dessert was pretty amazing as well.
Main Swimming Pool
There is one common pool in the resort which is next tot he restaurant on top of the reception that overlooks the beach. While it is not very big, it’s perfect for a cooling dip with a stunning panorama – therefore the perfect place to take some photos as well.
Beach Access
Aleenta Hua Hin is directly by the beach and a short walk down the pathway will lead to the stairs to go down.
There is no beach facilities save for a facet for washing off sands. But the raw beauty of Pranburi beach is in its untouched and unpolished look.
The waves are generally stronger here, making Hua Hin and Pranburi an ideal place to kitesurf, but if you are not a strong swimmer I would not recommend swimming too far out.
You can walk down the beach to either side for a snoop at the area’s other hotels and just enjoy the lack of crowd and tourists. Do make sure you note down the time for high tide.
Aleenta Hua Hin Ayurah Spa
Aleenta Hua Hin’s spa is award winning and located above the hotel restaurant. The spa focuses on holistic well-being with a range of rejuvenating treatments. Guests can indulge in traditional Thai massages, aromatherapy, and personalized wellness programs designed to restore balance and harmony.
Golf Cart shuttle
The hotel has a golf cart that can take you to the places in the nearby area, which applies to the surrounding area close by. We had only used it for getting to the other swimming pool and to the headland to the south.
Daily Activities
The resort also offer daily activities to the guests with a close tie to sustainability and community. There are more activities during the weekend, with daily alms giving to the monks and eggs collecting in the morning.
Villa Pool
If you are looking to do proper swimming or a change of scenery, the resort has several villa that’s a few blocks down. The golf cart can take you and it’s beach front with loungers and a clear view of the sea and an onsite restaurant as well.
Villa Restaurant
The Villa restaurant have a more casual menu and we tried their pad thai and signature burger, both of which are good and generous portion. I also tried their signature kombucha and it was a refreshing choice.
Aleenta Hua Hin Rooms
Aleenta Hua Hin have 7 different room types scattered across the resort. I can only introduce the one I stayed at in depth but I’ll try to include the others, too.
Ocean View Residence
I stayed at the Ocean View Residence and it’s almost like your own little villa with beautiful terrace with sunbeds and outdoor chair and table. Our room is located on the second floor which gives a better view out to the beach.
The room itself is quite spacious with a king-sized bed, tea table, and chair, as well as wardrobe, mini fridge, and an ensuite bathroom.
What I love about Aleenta is that they not only provide robes but a set of soft cotton white pajamas. The bathroom has a step ladder for drying your clothes and the toiletries provided are made by Aleenta as well using essential oils and are perfect

Nearby Aleenta Hua Hin
7-11
Believe it or not, the fact that there’s a 7-11 within short walking distant to the hotel is a huge plus for me. Given that Aleenta Hua Hin is rather remote, the convenience store provides a cheap refreshment point and also for any emergency medicine or feminine product needed.
Restaurant
For local food option, we found a well-rated Thai restaurant between the hotel and 7-11 that have all the quintessential Thai dishes that you might want to order. Our meal with thai basil fried minced pork, pad thai, and a morning glory came to under 300 baht, which is very value for money.
It was family run with nice outdoor seating but there are many mosquitoes, so go in long sleeves and long trousers!
Pranburi Beach
The Pranburi Beach stretches far up and down and it’s a quiet beach that remains relatively undeveloped and pristine.
That said, this does mean that the beach is less ‘picture perfect’. I recommend asking the hotel to take you to the southern headland where you can take photos with the limestone cliffs and coves, and walk back to the hotel. This should take 20-30 minutes.
